Breeding
The very first objective before starting the dairy was to build an organization that will in future play an important role in value chain integration for a sector, which is far from developed in a state not known for its dairy practices. The breed quality is among the poorest in the entire country and this plays a major role in making animal rearing an extremely unrewarding source of livelihood. The use of technologies such as Embryo Transfer Technology, use of sex sorted semen technology, usage of Digital Artificial Insemination guns and other such breed improvement programs will be undertaken to scale up this business where farmers get access to pedigreed animals which will be financially rewarding.
